This Privacy Policy describes how FinCalc Pro ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

The App allows you to perform financial calculations including EMI, SIP, FD, GST, currency conversion, tip calculation, compound interest, and age calculation. All calculation inputs and results are stored locally on your device only. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your financial data on our servers.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

  • Analytics Data: We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how users interact with the App. This may include session recordings, heatmaps, and usage patterns. Clarity collects anonymized interaction data such as taps, scrolls, and navigation patterns. No personally identifiable information is collected through Clarity.
  • Advertising Data: We use third-party advertising services (JustBaat Ads / AdMob mediation) to display ads. These services may collect device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data to serve relevant advertisements.
  • Firebase Services: We use Firebase Remote Config to manage app configuration remotely. Firebase may collect device identifiers and instance IDs for this purpose.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Personal financial information (income, savings, loan details)
  • Names, email addresses, or contact information
  • Location data
  • Photos, files, or media

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide and improve the App's functionality
  • To understand usage patterns and improve user experience via analytics
  • To display advertisements
  • To manage app configuration remotely

All your calculation history, preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage (Hive and SharedPreferences). We do not have access to this data. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data will be deleted.

  • iOS: Settings > Privacy > Apple Advertising > Turn off Personalized Ads

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.

7. Data Security

We value your trust and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting your data. All user data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App and on this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes are effective when they are posted on this page.

9. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data. You can:

  • Reset app preferences within the App settings
  • Delete all data by uninstalling the App
